Cheek, Chin and Jawline Filler

Structural support and profile balancing, assessed across the whole lower face rather than one feature.

Filler in the cheeks, chin or jawline can improve facial support, proportion and definition. These areas are assessed together because changing one part of the face alters how the others appear. The aim is not simply a sharper jaw or a larger cheek, but better balance for your facial structure.

Assessed in three dimensions, sometimes staged.

The face is assessed in profile, front view and movement. Product firmness, injection plane and volume are chosen for the individual area. Treatment may be staged over more than one visit where a larger correction would be inappropriate in a single session.

Common goals include age-related mid-face volume loss, cheek support and contour, chin projection or shape, selected jawline definition, facial profile balancing, and support for selected lower-face folds where structural loss contributes.

Results vary according to anatomy and the amount of correction required. Filler can support tissues and alter contour, but it cannot reproduce the effect of surgery where there is marked skin laxity or major skeletal disproportion. Where that is the case, we will say so rather than treat around it.

The general dermal filler contraindications apply. Marked skin laxity, very thin tissues, significant previous permanent filler or unrealistic expectations may make a different approach more appropriate. Some facial regions are higher risk because of their vascular anatomy, so careful assessment and emergency preparedness are essential.
