Who we are
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Our contact details are on every page of this site, and data protection enquiries can be sent to the clinic by email or post.
What we collect
Contact details, appointment history and payment records. Health data including medical history, medications, allergies, consent records and clinical notes. Clinical photographs where you have consented to them.
Website enquiry forms collect only the details you enter. We do not collect health data through this website beyond what you choose to write in an enquiry.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
Health data is processed for the provision of healthcare under Article 9(2)(h) UK GDPR, and contact and payment data under legitimate interests and contractual necessity.
Marketing communications are sent only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
Clinical photographs are held on the basis of your specific written consent, which distinguishes between clinical records and any use in marketing. Consent for one is not consent for the other.
How long we keep it
Adult clinical records are retained for a minimum of eight years after the last treatment, in line with professional record-keeping requirements.
Enquiry data from this website is retained for twelve months if it does not lead to an appointment.
Who we share it with
Accredited laboratories where you have testing. Your GP or a specialist where you consent to a referral or where clinically necessary. Our insurers and professional advisers where a claim arises.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your rights
You have the right to access a copy of your records, to have inaccurate data corrected, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to data portability. Some rights are limited where health records must be retained.
To exercise any of these, contact the clinic in writing. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
